Founder Jimmie Jeffries was an on-duty police officer. He saw how many local homes had no working deadbolt. On his off days, he started installing them himself. That was the beginning of what became a full locksmith business.
The business grew to five shops spread across the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.
Jimmie returned to full-time law enforcement and the business downsized accordingly.
Operations consolidated to a single Archdale location. Jon Jeffries, also a full-time police officer, began following in his father's footsteps.
Jon took over the business. He has run it ever since, now operating as Veteran's Lock and Security Solutions.

Unlicensed operators sometimes use trusted local names to book jobs. They overcharge once they arrive. If a quote balloons on-site, or a "local" dispatcher can't give you a street address, that's a red flag. We're always reachable at our real number and shop address below.

Locksmithing is a licensed profession in North Carolina. Since October 2013, providing locksmith services without a license is a potential Class I misdemeanor. The North Carolina Locksmith Licensing Board regulates locksmithing, access control, safes and vaults, and vehicle lockout services statewide.
